今年的Wacken真的很反常, 熱到靠北, 5.6點就會被熱醒
Wacken was fucking hot this year, had to wake up at 5.6am because of the heat.
因為帳篷離大家都很遠, 所以東西帶一帶就到啤酒花園去閒晃
那邊有座位坐, 有的坐位還有遮陽傘, 有吃有喝(要錢)
也有很鏘的表演看, 例如說不插電板的一堆搖滾金屬歌曲
My tent is far from anybody I know, so I went to beergarden early today.
There you can get a seat with cover, as well food and baverage.
And of course, some funny shows. for example acoustic version rock and metal songs.
你可以選擇坐在坐位上, 或是去台前看表演
You can choose to sit on your seat, or go to watch the show in front of the stage.
因為這天熱到人神共憤, 我點了很大一杯飲料
疑似是兩公升(?), 好像要10歐上下, 令人想哭
整個音樂祭也只敢點這一次
一般小杯大概300ml啦, 也是要3.5歐, 可以自己衡量一下
I ordered a big cup(2L?) of drink since it was too hot today, I remember it's about 10 euro...
The only try in the festival, too expensive.
基於音樂祭甚麼都要體驗看看的精神
我去了充電攤位, 會登記你的資料並幫你保管充電物品
但是會有壓力, 來取的時候才要付錢, 充一個小時請付2歐(倒)
因為手機真的陣亡了就硬著頭皮充, 但一小時充不了多少
好險住飯店的朋友出現, 支援了行動電源
建議攜帶智慧型手機的朋友, 行動電源要多備一些
I went to the electric hotel for my dying phone, after getting you registered, they will keep your belonging and take a picture of you, you only need to pay when you come back for your item, 2euro/hour, not really a good choice, but I had to, I convinced myself this is part of the experience. Later on my friend came from his hotel and lended me his battery lol
Next time, I think I'll bring more bettaries with me.
不想花錢的朋友, 也可以在充電站周圍, 尋找免費充電服務
最簡單的是一些開放式插座, 先佔先贏, 但是東西要自己顧
有些是遊戲性質的充電模組, 玩遊戲可以順便發電
個人認為最好笑的是腳踏車充電站, 大家在那看金屬頭耍猴戲踩半天
結果充不到2% XDDD
Not everything costs money, there are some free services for charging your phone! There are some free plugs, you can use them as long as they are not occupied, but you better be there with your phone since no one else will be looking after it. Some are gaming charging models, you can charge your phone by playing games. Obviously the funniest one is cycling charging system, saw many metalheads there, they tried so hard, but could only get 2% charged lol
等充電時也不會無聊, 那邊也有個露天卡拉OK攤
不是有露天廣播秀, 就是有很鏘的素人卡拉OK
You don't feel bored in Wacken, even while waiting for the charging service, there is a mini stage next to it, sometimes there are live studio, sometimes there are random karaoke events.
喜歡喝啤酒的朋友, 也可以在Wacken找到很多特殊的啤酒
尤其遇到MET一定要試試, 那是德國有名的蜂蜜酒
聞起來真的是蜂蜜的甜香味
我記得有次拿到杯子, 裡面還有隻蜜蜂在飛...
If you love beer, don't miss those in Wacken, especially don't miss MET.
MET is full of the sweet flavor of honey, I remember there was even a bee flying in my cup...
Wacken Nacken也是會令人回味的東西
雖然音樂祭東西很貴很靠杯
但是有些東西一定要趁機會吃看看
Wacken Nacken is also something you should give a try,
or I should say... there are many things you should give a try, even they might be a little bit expensive.
But, come on, you are already in Wacken.
還有在賣長得像血袋的飲料, 裡面是酸甜的果汁
其實這天的高溫來說, 買一杯杯有加冰塊的比較實在
但一切就是為了音樂祭的實驗精神啊XD
You can also find something looks like blood bag, actually juice inside.
It was too hot that day, so this wasn't really better than iced drink in cups, all for experience.
有時也有些很超值的紀念品可以挖, 例如一條W:O:A的官方製金屬項鍊才6歐
去年還有買1歐的菸盒回來送人
There are some souvenir, nice and cheap, for example W:O:A necklace only costs 6 euro!
I remember I bought 1-euro cigaratte box as giveaway last year.
2013年夏天, Motorhead取消了幾乎所有暑假的演出
雷米還是堅持要來Wacken
但因為剛動完手術不久, 演出只有半小時左右
不過2014年Motorhead將會再度回到Wacken
獻上完整版的Motorhead in Wacken!
Motorhead had to cancel most shows in summer of 2013, but they still came to Wacken, however, the show was just 30 minutes since it wasn't long after Lemmy's surgery.
2014, they will be back to Wacken again!
晚上走到Bullhead City附近, 帳棚頂打上了燈
At night, saw some interesting project on the tent of Bullhead City.
這天Anvil有表演, 事前有用臉書傳訊息約好要見面XD
也跟他們說過這段會被收在Wacken記錄片裡
表演所在的Bullhead City有時還會有摔角看
Anvil had a show in W:O:A 2014, so we decided to meet up, also I told them this part might be in the W:O:A documentary. The show was is Bullhead City, sometimes you can see wrestling there.
看Anvil的時候, 我站在第一排正中間, 第一排除了我之外都是粗壯的大叔啊!
戰況超激烈, 不過還好周圍的大叔後來還會保護我, 有人衝浪過來時會幫我擋
雖然還是不小心有次某老兄掉了下來, 我的手就被沾了爛泥的鞋擦過去了
看到已釋出的紀錄片預告裡有收到2秒XD
While watching Anvil's show, I was in the middle of front row, everybody in the front row was all strong guy except me lol It was harsh but luckily those people protected me when there were crowdsurfing above our heads. Still though, a guy fell on my hand with his muddy shoes XD
This part will also be in the documentary.
話說, Anvil表演完後, 導演帶著我殺去Bullhead City藝人專用的藝人村
其實他跟警衛盧了一下才硬是帶著我進去
畢竟我沒通行證, 警衛不願意放行
但是這次似乎導演們最大, 最後他還是要妥協XDDDD
(我去看雷姆斯汀時手上有刺刺的違禁品, 也是導演盧工作人員不要管)
在藝人休息區時又挖到了W:O:A小物, 順手拿了一包起來XD
這時另一個導演也出現了, 他問我還有沒有剩下的鳳梨酥
因為他昨天吃了一個我送的, 覺得很意猶未盡XD
舊振南鳳梨酥有起士香味很適合拿來送外國朋友啊!

After Anvil's show, we went to the arst village for Bullhead City, while waiting, I founf some more Wacken thing. It was a bit difficult to get in since I didn't have a backstage pass, somehow my director Marco made it possible.
Another director also shew up here, asking me if I still have pineapple cakes, I gave him one and he really likes it lol
音樂祭最後一天的早上很閒, 帳篷又熱得要死
於是一早我就來到啤酒花園
一邊寫著今天的看團行程時, 旁邊的3個德國人一直偷偷在看我寫啥
最後就忍不住開口問我哪來的
我說: 台灣~ 你們本來以為是哪?
結果他們說: 長崎
等等, 長崎跟東京或北海道的長相會差很多嗎?
為什麼你們不猜國籍卻猜地區啊XDDD
The last morning of the fest, I came to beer garden in the morning since it was too hot in the tent. While writing my schedule for today, there were 3 German staring at my note book, then they asked me: "Where are you from?"
I said: "Taiwan, where did you think I'm from?"
They said: "Nagasaki."
Wait, why do you guess the area instead of nationality? Do people from Nagasaki actually look very different to those from Tokyo or Hokkaido? XDDD
然後其他台灣戰友也來了
我本來喝著我的可樂, 結果這些同桌的德國人遞了杯啤酒給我
其實我滿不愛喝啤酒的, 大概只有在Wacken遇到免費的會喝一下(?)
"帳面上"他們請了我兩杯啤酒, 最後還請同桌的台灣人一人一杯獵鹿酒
Then other Taiwanese friends shew up as well.
I was drinking my Coke, but then I got a free beer from those German metalheads. To be honest I don't really drink beer, only when there is some free beer in Wacken.
"I thought" they treated me 2 cups of beer, and gave all Taiwanese metalheads at the same table a cup of Jägermeister.
大家一邊喝酒一邊看表演消磨時間
我桌上的杯子也疊了起來
因為舞台在我背後, 所以我是轉過去看表演的
We were drinking while watching the shows, and I got more and more cups oninfront of me.
I had to turn around to see the show since the stage was behind me.
中間有點茫了, 還借酒裝瘋搭訕隔壁的先生讓我拍照
因為他手上好多音樂祭手環XDDD
I was a little bit drunk already, maybe that's also why I tried to ask a guy for a picture, just because of his fests wristbands.
我記得我還吃了東西, 還跟德國人跑去台前繞圈圈跳大腿舞
那時台上唱的是那卡西版Sweet Chind of Mine
要離開時, 他們問我等一下要看哪個團, 我說我今天最期待的就是Alestorm啊!!!
約了待會見, 因為他們也要去看
然後我就睡著了, 睡在舞台前的大草原上
還爬起來吐了兩次
該說是完成了在Wacken該解的成就之一嗎...
Alestorm靠杯好聽的啊, 但是我只有在唱到Keelhauled的時候, 硬是爬起來跟著唱完
這應該是這次最悔恨的事吧, 下次不要再喝醉了 = =
I remember I ate some food, I was dancing with those German metalheads in front of the stage while they were singing Sweet Child of Mine(funny version). When we are leaving beer garden, they asked me which band I'm going to see? I told them I've been waiting for Alestorm for years! So, said see you later, since they'll be watching Alestorm as well.
Then, I fell asleep in front of the stage. and I puked twice there, looks like this is also something you might experience in Wacken...
Alestorm sounded amazing, but I only made it to stand up and sing along with "Keelhauled". This might be something I regret this time, never get drunk if you are planning to see one of your favorite bands today = =
看完Alestorm後, 離下午的記錄片訪談跟Anthrax還有點時間, 於是戰友扶我回帳棚休息
這時一枚戰友說: 剛剛你坐著看表演時, 其實德國人都趁你轉頭過去的時候, 一直補啤酒在你的杯子裡
啊幹, 難怪我覺得這小小一杯怎麼一直喝不完
被德國人表了
After Alestorm's show, my friends helped me to go back to my tent, so that I caould take a nap before the interview for W:O:A documentary and Anthrax's show in the afternoon.
Then my friend told me: "When you were sitting and watching the show, those German were adding beer in your cup when you turned around."
Damn, this is why it was so difficult to finish the beer -.-
這天在我的帳棚拍攝紀錄片的專訪畫面, 照慣例出現了看到鏡頭就會爆衝的金屬頭, 而且我遠遠就看到他全裸
後來大家發現就開始觀察他要幹嘛, 就看到他吼著WACKEEEEEN一邊甩著雞雞衝過來鏡頭前, 然後被我鄰居的帳篷絆到, 華麗地跌倒了, 眼前閃過小菊花(遮臉) 左邊是鄰居, 忙著要修復歪掉的帳篷; 右邊是已經急忙把內褲穿起來的露鳥人, 他的朋友剛剛拿著內褲在追他
That day, we were shooting an interview in my tent for Wacken 3D documentary, then typically a Wacken guy came to the camera and he was naked, I saw everything lol He ran to the camera while shouting "WACKEEEEEN", and then he fell on my neighbor's tent.
You can see on the left my neighbor was gonna repair his tent, and the guy just put on his boxer, his friend was holding it and running after him.
Wackinger Stage位在交通樞紐, 帳篷區跟舞台區要透過這區來聯通
大舞台的團都沒興趣時, 來這邊會看到很好玩的東西
尤其是喜歡folk metal的千萬不要錯過
導演安排了一個橋段, 讓我到台上去打鼓
這段畫面可能也會收在紀錄片裡
拍完後我就涼涼地去台下看表演, 發現我剛打的setting是Feuerschwanz的
這團的翻譯可以翻成"火老二"XDDDDD
因為表演太歡樂了當場變粉絲
有金絲貓拿著牌子帶動唱
還有粉紅兔亂入在台上跳舞
Don't miss Wackinger Stage if you are a folk metal fan, sometimes you'll find something amazing here. This day, I was drumming on this stage (this might be part of the W:O:A documentary), then I found the drum setting is for the next band Feuerschwanz.
Already a fan after watching the show.
也因為要拍攝打鼓畫面的關係(完全是臨時加的企劃)
我完全錯過Anthrax了, 只好看著LED螢幕流口水
之後就繼續亂逛, 因為其實Wacken腹地真的很大
有一些散落的小市集可以挖挖寶
So, because of the shooting for drumming scene, I missed Anthrax...

天色漸漸暗了之後, 就來排隊看Alice Cooper
完全不是個fan, 但是舞台表演超好看
外加可以看Orianthi, 超滿足
同時也想到這阿妹之前跟MJ合作綵排過呢, 可惜演唱沒機會真的開始...
在音樂祭其實你是不是某團的fan並不重要
喜不喜歡, 不用拿來當作選擇要不要看的標準
因為有的團你平常不喜歡, 但是現場表演很好看XDDD
這應該也是為什麼在歐洲很多音樂祭觀眾很早就會先買票了吧
因為不見得只會去看自己喜歡的團
也不是只有那些團會好看
一個音樂祭的規模成熟了, 口碑做出來了
票一開賣大家就很自然地會先搶再說
I'm not a Alice Cooper fan, but don't miss his show if you have any chance, for me, I usually try to check some bands even I don't really listen to them as long as their performance is good. You can discover many bands like that in a festival, being your favorite or not shouldn't be the only reason for you to go to a show in a fest.
For example I don't really listen to Alice Cooper, but I enjoyed his show XD
And I enjoyed Orianthi, she reminds me of the un-completed show of her with Michael Jackson...
這天最後還看了Nightwish, 以前Tarja時期沒機會看, 後來的KT主唱也不喜歡
然後地板姐加入之後, 一堆Nightwish迷又回鍋了
問了前排的阿妹, 很多人都是這樣
Nightwish的表演前排70%是歌德妹的戰場
而且很兇悍, 表演還沒開始就有好幾個因為卡位問題在吵架
地板姐不用講了, 現場唱功很棒, 跟Tarja不一樣的棒
話說隔天我搭飛機還跟Troy Donockley同機
他在Wacken的演出之後才被收編為Nightwish正式成員
The last show for this festival was Nightwish, for me. There were many gothic girls in the front, some were arguing because of the cutting line problem lol Many fans were just like me, liked Tarja, quitting being a fan when Anette was the vocalist, then came back to support Floor Jansen!
Floor was different to Tarja, but she is great in another kind of way, great show!
The next day I was on the same flight with Troy Donockley on the way to Manchester.
音樂祭完了之後, 星期天的早上是大家離開的時間
但我被通知要當紀錄片的收尾, 所以還有我的鏡頭要拍
Sunday morning is when people leave from Wacken (well, for those who are camping here), but I still had some job for the documentary, since I might be the last scene of this film.
趁劇組來前整理行李, 因為等一下要順便把帳棚交給版友, 讓他們帶去捷克看Brutal Assault
發現一瓶2歐的礦泉水已經在高溫帳篷裡變成塑膠口味了
I was packing before the filming team came over since my friends were coming to0 take my tent for their camping in Brutal Assault. I fount my Wacken water tasted like plastic after the high temperature in the tent.
拍紀錄片的收尾時, 我要拉著行李箱去拍"告別Wacken"的畫面, 光走路畫面就來來回回走了6.7次有, 有好幾台攝影機還有吊車
而且每次被導演喊"咖!!!"要重走時, 還會有助理幫忙把行李箱拉回來
幹, 怎麼感覺好尊貴(大誤)
拍到第2還3次時, 路邊有群很鏘的金屬頭, 正在破壞搭起來的大棚子, 導演突然覺得"這個構圖北拜!!!", 就叫我回來, 然後請他們把棚子搭回去, 接著讓我重走, 導演下令後他們又開始猛砍棚子
導演說你就看著他們然後微笑一下, 鏡頭會特寫你
擠了半天我結論是笑不出來, 雖然很鏘, 但是一方面也累到快死了
不管怎樣還是這樣拍過去了, 到最後我訂的9點的巴士也跑掉了, 所以就被導演認領去辦公室, 而且是攝影助理開著農用車帶著我飆過去, 導演跟攝影師沒帶安全帽騎機車雙載, 在露營區裡到處飆
The Sunday morning, everybody is leaving, but not me who still got some shooting to finish, it's likely that I'll be the last scene orf Wacken 3D film, let's see!
After the shooting in the morning, I found that I missed my Wacken bus which is going to Hamburg Airport, so the team carried me to Wacken office... Wacken Kart, go!!!
到達了Wacken辦公室, 那塊地是在大舞台區專用的藝人村, 2011年託了Grave Digger的福有進去過, 要是早個三天帶我來我就可以突擊雷姆斯汀了説!!!(住手)
這塊地同時也是Wacken音樂祭在這個村莊唯一的自有地, 當年一開始只有800人時就是在這塊地上辦, 之後隨著音樂祭擴大, 延伸出去的範圍是跟村民用租的
可以站在這裡其實有點感動
Wacken office, this area is where it begins, it was 800 people in the begining, 75000 people in 2013. The office is inside of the artist village for biggest stages, I saw Rammstein's container, why weren't I here 3 days ago? lol
This area is owned by Wacken, but other area in the fest is rented from the villagers.
I'm kinda moved that I'm able to be here.

After entering the office, I saw my profile there XDDD
這個音樂祭真的有很多週邊, 而且不是都有得買, 除了甚麼W:O:A小包裝堅果(前兩天託Anvil的福, 去另一個藝人村時A到的) 辦公室裡又挖到了W:O:A免洗杯...
There are so many things about Wacken here, I saw the Wacken paper cup here for the first time.
工作人員還有用職務區分出不同款式的T恤, 今年的3D攝影團隊也有自己的T恤
And in Wacken, staff have different T-shirts to seperate their duty.

辦公室裡除了偷看帥哥外(?), 也在觀察大家的工作, 有些工作人員就是隨機幫要離開的導演或工作人員等等, 即時線上訂火車票, 把票印給他們, 或是分配其他交通方式
導演說他要回柏林, 我說我要去漢堡機場趕下午的飛機, 所以工作人員就安排了一台車給我們, 還有另一個導演同行, 中午一起往漢堡機場出發
一看發現居然是藝人接駁車哈哈哈哈哈哈
好想知道有哪些團坐過這台(變態貌)
In the office I was busy observing what people were doing, some are in charge of booking connections (transportation) for directors or staff who are leaving.
My director was going back to Berlin, I'm going to Hamburg Airport for the flight in the afternoon, so we got on the same shuttle bus with another director.
Then I found that it was an artist shuttle bus, I'm really curious which bands were on this bus =w=
從Wacken開車到漢堡車站大約要一小時多一點
It took about 1 hour to Hamburg station
沿路上也會看到很多要從Wacken回去的車
On the way you'll see many cars from Wacken.
這時只要同條路上看到露營車的, 幾乎都是
And when you see campervan, they are!
有的很明顯則是因為根本把W:O:A標誌畫在車上
Some are quite obvious since they put W:O:A mark on their cars.
回到漢堡,發現有SLAYER的表演資訊
不過那時間我照表訂已經回台灣了......
來歐洲看音樂祭, 就是會想不斷地把機票時間往後延啊......
After arriving at Hamburg station, I found the poster of Slayer's show, but accoording to the information it's too late for me... You'll usually think about "prolong the stay in Europe" as long as you stay here for festivals.
去機場還是要靠火車
這時趁機參觀一下很龐大的漢堡火車站
You need the train to go to the airport, take your time and take a look at the massive station.
順便介紹一下導演Marco Wilms送的DVD
他是這次Wacken 3D紀錄片徵招的導演之一
其實有來台灣參加過影展, 這兩年在忙埃及的藝術革命紀錄片
還說以後可能會來台灣拍紀錄片(偷偷問到主題了)
I'd ike to introduce my director Marco Wilms this time, I got 2 DVDs from him, he's one of the Wacken 3D film directors, he has been to Taiwan for Festivals, and was busy on his latest documentary about Egypt --- ART WAR. There is a possibility that he might come to Taiwan again for another documentary.
每年的苦主 假馬丁鞋
這次沒直接被丟掉, 但是真的很臭, 我一直忽略2.3個月才拿出來洗
About my boots this year, I didn't throw them away this time, but it took 2 or 3 months for me to face them and wash them.
Stink.
